On 21 October 1967 people around the world demonstrated against the war in Vietnam. At the U of S an Ad Hoc October 21 Committee organized a week of activities ending in a march on city hall. These activities included a showing of the Bertrand Russell Peace Foundation film “Threatening Sky,” a speech by Prof. J Warnock on “Canada’s Role in Vietnam,” and a debate on the resolution that “Canada immediately cease shipment of all war material to the U.S. for use in Vietnam.” On Friday Bob Wilkinson, a Vietnam veteran, spoke on “Why I came back opposed."
