Historical Note: The Wascana Lake Bathhouse provided
a place to take a dip in Wascana Lake. The first bathhouse was built in
the early part of the twentieth century. The original structure was destroyed
in the 1912 cyclone. A new building was constructed in 1912 to replace
the destroyed original. A third bathhouse was eventually built to accommodate
swimmers. All three were owned and operated by the City of Regina.
