Historical Note:
The cyclone travelled a south to north path and wreaked havoc in the commercial area in downtown Regina as well as in the upscale residential areas south of the downtown business district. Many other areas were untouched by the storm. The working-class areas in the east of the city were unscathed, as were the RCMP depot, Government House, and other government buildings in the west end of the city.
