Scope and content | A monotone postcard showing a Scottish marching band leading an automobile float during the 1 August 1913 automobile parade in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, part of a day-long celebration for over 500 real estate men from USA. Woman in driver's seat identified as Miss Helen Drennan. Streets jammed with crowds for blocks. Red Ensign and American flags fly on each car. Over 300 cars were decorated, vying for prizes in the parade. Title from front of postcard. | |
