Scope and content | Monotone postcard with sepia tone showing the Thos. Meredith store at Yorkton, Saskatchewan; taken during the Coronation of His Majesty, King George V, June 22, 1911. "Long Live The King" banner and large ribbons hang from exterior of store. Caption from scrapbook: "The buildings, right above, disappeared in the early 1920s to make way for the opening of 3rd. Avenue South, Broadway to Livingstone. On the left is the store of J.L. Magrath, next is Thos. Meredith's store and then a brick office building on which can be seen the sign of the Canadian Bank of Commerce-its first place of business." Title from back of postcard.
