| Description: | The goal of Project Naming is the identification of Inuit portrayed in some of the photographic collections of Library and Archives Canada in Ottawa. It is an ongoing initiative, which enables Nunavut youth to connect with Elders and to better understand their past. It also helps to bridge the cultural differences and geographical distances between Nunavut and the more southern parts of Canada. |
