Dempster, materials on the Dempster Highway, magazine/newspaper articles and press releases about the Canadian North and Alaska, USA. Also contains photocopy of the song "Rush To The Klondike", written by Diefenbaker's father, W.T. Diefenbaker. Also 1957 debates in Hansard pp. 264-270, 1158, 1197-1198, 1201-1202, 2001-2002, 2566-2567, pertaining to Northern roads, gold export tax on Placer gold mining industry in YT, and development of the Canadian North. File materials include handwritten notations by Diefenbaker, and memorandums to/from assistants. Also multiple photocopies of the Encyclopedia Canadiana "Yukon Territory" entry. Includes press release pertaining to Post Office issuing four new Inuit stamps. Contains the report "The Yukon, National Resource Development Policy".
