It has been said that the mind of man is one of nature's great creations. However, when one is in the presence of the 45 million year old fossil forest and sees how nature has made mountains into rivers, rivers into mountains, transformed lush tropics into arid desert and stacked forest upon forest through great stretches of time, the power of man's mind shrinks and recedes accordingly as scientists continue to grapple with and disagree upon how to fully explain all that has transpired on this earth.
