Scope and content Minutes of the 6 February 1919 meeting. Among other issues, exhibition in New York of R. MacLaurin's straw gas car; restrictions on use relating to the transfer of land from the CPR; proposed site for Normal School on the University campus; authorization to borrow funds; an increase in faculty salaries; possible publication of a memorial volume of R.G. Bateman's works, as well as identification of the senior professorship in English as "the Reginald Bateman Professorship;" the potential for erecting a suitable memorial to the students who died in the war; appointments of Isobel Jones and E.W. Griffiths; plans for the future development of the University; the Physics building; influenza; policies for refunding tuition fees; refunding some household expenses due to use of the President's Residence as a hospital during the 'flu epidemic; building insurance; and the President's salary, were discussed.
