A maritime reconnaissance version of the famed Lancaster bomber. A Crown Corporation, Victory Aircraft Limited built 430 Lancasters during World War Two. In 1945, Victory Aircraft Limited was sold and became A.V. Roe Canada Limited, the aircraft division of which was later renamed Avro Airport Limited.1
