Their performance is described in the University yearbook as “one of the
peppiest things ever put across the footlights of Convocation Hall. Verve! Dash!
Wit!” In 1930 Marlene Dietrich had electrified film audiences with her
performance in Morocco — especially memorable was her night club song performed
in tuxedo and top hat.
